Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Corporate Attorney to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual with a dual background in law and real estate, ideally complemented by an MBA. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of legal and real estate functions, including drafting and negotiating contracts, managing grants, and overseeing real estate and property management. This role demands a strategic thinker who can creatively reframe and innovate processes to enhance our operations and legal standing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to support various business needs.
- Manage and oversee grants, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
- Handle all aspects of real estate transactions and property management.
- Provide strategic legal and business advice to enhance company performance.
- Innovate and reframe traditional processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.
- Possession of a Michigan real estate license is highly desirable.
- MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in contract creation, negotiations, and real estate management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work creatively and adaptively in a fast-paced environment.
